In the most intense week in the Christian year, we are confronted on Good Friday with the violence we inflict upon each other and our faithlessness toward God, juxtaposed dramatically against the love of God and the hope God’s kingdom offers our world. Join us on Friday March 30th at 7 pm. We will listen to the story of the arrest, trial, execution, and burial of Jesus and will hear again the words of Christ from the cross. We will experience the depth of God’s love illustrated by this amazing act of sacrifice. And we will bow our heads in shame, as we contemplate that it was our sins that put Him on that cross.
