Pastoral Care/Prayer

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:v16

When you or another member of our church are hospitalized, having outpatient surgery, or experience a time of crisis or tragedy in their lives; your Asbury Pastoral Care team want to be there for you. Our team members meet people exactly where they are and when they are in need; to pray with them, to listen, to visit or just a hand to hold.  The pastoral care team at Asbury is comprised of our pastor and trained laity that have a passion for people.  We make visits to homes, to hospitals, hospice facilities and/or to nursing facilities – where ever the need is.

Many people reach a point in life when they are no longer able to come to church regularly, but they remain a loved members of our church community. Please contact our office if you or another church member is entering this phase of life and would like to schedule a visit from a member of our pastoral care team.

If you are in need of prayers or would like prayers for a friend or loved one; we want to be there for you. We have a team of prayer warriors that can pray for you and your needs.  You can submit your prayer request online (below)

If you would like to setup a visit with one of our pastoral care team or would like our prayer warriors to pray for you, call our office or let us know by our Contact Page.
