United Women in Faith

On Monday November 28 the UWIF met once again to fill gently used purses with personal hygiene products for women in need. Most of the purses were donated by Brighton Collectables Walden Galleria. They were filled with items donated by other UWIF chapters in our area and our congregation. 75 purses were filled and will be distributed to the Buffalo Burrito Project, Buffalo Dream Center, Friends of the Night, Girard Place and Wesley's Place.

Marty has been an instrumental part of our music program at Asbury. He will be playing percussion and sharing his knowledge enthusiasm in all things musical as well.

Our United Women of Faith has joined with Brighton Collectibles in the Galleria Mall in a mission to help women in need. Help on my Journey of Faith

This is a photo of Bibles that I own. The white Bible on top I was given to when I was a child. Teenage years led me to The Way, travel down a few to my Women of Faith Bible where I learned and am still learning of the strong women of the Bible, then to The Message which is a translation in more current language, to the last Bible in the pile given to my family from Morton & Whetstone in honor and memory of my Mother The Bible on top has traveled 12 moves, across 3 states.

Oh, the places we go!

I recently took an Aegean Sea cruise that began in Venice, Italy, with a stop in Dubrovnik, Croatia and finished in Athens, Greece. One of our side trips  was by a vaporetto or water taxi to get to Burano, known for its lace-making, which had us cruising through Venice. Make Us An Offer Yard Sale

With the helping hands of our church family and some young men from St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Monday night the truck was loaded and ready to go!

Tuesday, in the pouring rain, off we went. We were greeted by Mike and Peter who unloaded the truck, weighed us in and submitted our numbers.

Tuesday Joyce received our payout….
